We offer New York hall rentals for weddings, receptions including landmark and film locations. This George F Bker house style mansion overlooking hi end Park Ave. and 93rd St. has a hall (1000 sq.ft. approx.) and a connecting room (800 sq. ft. approx.) that are available for board meetings, photo shoots, receptions and dinners. The hall, located on the second floor, with elevator access, faces Park Ave. It is fully restored in the Neo-Classical style and seats 70 people for dining. Liquor must be removed on the morning of the first business day after the event. The Lessee retains the right to request the removal of any guest whose behavior may be deemed offensive The George F. Baker, Jr. House and the Synod of Bishops accepts no responsibility for items left alter the function. If Lessee intends to hire a caterer to serve food or beverages at the Hall/Courtyard, a certificate of liability for said caterer must be on file with the rental office or be submitted at least two weeks prior to the event. The caterer shall maintain $1,000,000.00 in general liability insurance.

The adjacent room located at the corner of the building with its large windows has a view looking down Park Avenue. and is ideal for photo shoots, receptions, and small board meetings or space as a kitchen for caterers preparing a reception. Additionally, the mansion offers an exceptionally rare enclosed flagstone courtyard (1800 sq. ft. approx.) that is available and can accommodate tenting. The client's rental fee payment provides for a period of use of the premises in accordance with the type of rental. This generally allows for a setup period, the function itself and an hour for the caterer, florist, ny film locations, musicians, and etc. to clean up after the client has left. If additional time is required, the client is welcome to purchase up to two hours prior to the event. No decorations or displays may be used that damage, or are likely to damage the fabric of the house, or be offensive (at the discretion of the director of rentals). Any extensive decorating should be discussed with the director of rentals. No rice, rose petals, birdseed or confetti of any kind may be thrown on the premises. Only candles enclosed in glass (i.e. hurricanes or motives) are allowed. Candelabra may be used, but must be extinguished immediately following the ceremony. Uncovered tapered candles are never allowed. Paintings, icons and other items in the hall may be removed with the approval and under the supervision of the director of rentals. The Lessee shall be responsible for any and all loss, cause of action, damage or injury of any kind to persons or property (regardless of who may be the owner of the property) arising out of Lessee's use of the Hall/Courtyard. The Lessee shall identify and hold harmless the landlord, its trustees, officers, agents and employees against any and all damages, claims, expenses or other liability due to personal injury or death, or damage to property of others arising out of Lessee's use of the Hall/Courtyard. This indemnity includes, but is not limited to, injuries to employees of the lessor or its subcontractors and any third party who may sustain injury or property damage due to the use of the Hall/Courtyard.
